We have designed sponsorship “kits” which allow you to select exactly where your funds will go. We offer complete disclosure as to how you gift is used.

Starter Kit Sponsorship $50 One Time Gift

Street children have nothing to call their own. When a child first is taken into the house, they have a number of basic needs. The Starter Kit sponsorship plan includes the following necessities for your sponsored child:

• A Bible
• Personal toilet items such as soap, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste, body oil, hair comb and brush and hair cream
• Towels, wash cloths, pillow and bed linens
• A foam mattress
• Clothing including:
  o Underpants and socks,
  o Shoes (school shoes, flip flops and sneakers),
  o Outer clothing: dresses or shorts and shirts, play clothing, a set of sleepwear and a church outfit,
  o And a special gift chosen just for them.

Women's Starter Kit Sponsorship $50 One Time Gift

Our partnership with Hedwig Lee, and Destiny House in Gulu, allows you to give to young women who have been abducted and/or sexually abused by the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) soldiers. Your gift will help fund their basic necessities when they first enter Destiny House, and will help fund a sewing machine for each woman, helping them to stimulate their own economic independence.

Family Starter Kit Sponsorship $50 One Time Gift

In Gulu there are many Internally Displaced Persons camps (IDPs) that act as emergency housing for those whose villages have been pillaged by the LRS. The camps range in size from 400 to 60,000 people, and at the height of the armed conflict saw 90% of the population of Gulu living in them. The people of Gulu are farmers, and you gift will buy tools for a family, helping them to take one step closer to being independent and able to move out of the camps and back into homes of their own. Your gift will also help fund the boring of water holes, a gift which does not just help a family, but an entire village.

Education Sponsorship $30.00 per month

Home schooling inside the house will be provided for the younger children and government schools on the outside for the older ones. However, cursory education in Uganda, as in many developing nations, is not without costs. Children must pay school fees as well as pay for their textbooks and supplies and school uniforms.

Your provision of an Education Sponsorship covers these costs for your sponsored child.

Medical Sponsorship $30.00 per month

Most children are sick as a result of living on the streets without adequate nourishment or any previous medical care. Some will suffer from HIV infection inherited from their parents who may have died of the disease.

Your Medical Sponsorship will provide your sponsored child with critical health care assistance including the following:

• A comprehensive medical check-up to ascertain the child’s current state of health
• A dental exam and teeth cleaning
• Any required medications and medical attention as needed
• Regular medical and dental check-ups
• Medicine as needed
• Daily multi-vitamins

General Donation

This is an open amount donation for however much you wish to give. Your donation helps to maintain the day to day expenses of running Restorers of Hope:

• Rent & Utility expenses
• Repairs, upgrades and maintenance
• Transportation
• Christian outreach
• Developing start-up industries

Sponsors may select any of the above packages and we will apply your donations to a child who needs your help today.
